Welcome to the Oxygen Therapy Course.
This course is aimed to provide the participants the knowledge of the different types/methods of oxygen delivery and the equipment needed. Participants will also be taught how to monitor an individual’s oxygen levels and when they need to be responsive and alert emergency medical professionals.
Upon completion of the module, the participants should be able to:
- Provide guidelines for the safe administration of oxygen therapy.
- Define criteria/indications and contraindications of oxygen therapy.
- Define the responsibilities of physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and physiotherapists involved in oxygen administration.
