Welcome to the Nursing Adult Standards of Care Course.
This course has been created to assist nurses, other healthcare professionals, and organizations to access education on how a nurse should act and what he or she should and should not do in his or her professional capacity. These standards are considered the baseline for quality care.
Upon completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
- Provide evidenced-based best practices for adult standards of care in order to ensure that all adult patients (from 18 years of age and older) will receive family-focused quality nursing care.
- Define criteria for standards of care in adults.
- Define responsibilities of staff in patient care.
