Welcome to the Caring for Patient with Enteral Tube Course.
This course is aimed to help healthcare professionals understand the guidelines on caring for patients with enteral tubes and aims to support nurses in administering feeds and medications via a nasogastric, orogastric or gastrostomy tube in a safe and appropriate manner.
Enteral feeding is a method of supplying nutrients directly into the gastrointestinal tract.
Upon completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
- Discuss and demonstrate caring of patients with enteral tubes in a safe and appropriate manner.
