Welcome to the Changing Position of Bedbound Patient Course.
This course is aimed to provide information regarding appropriate methods of preventing bed or pressure sores; areas of susceptibility, stages of development, preventive measures, and treatment for bedbound patients.
Positioning a patient in bed is important for maintaining alignment and for preventing bed sores (pressure ulcers), foot drops, and contractures.
Upon completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
