Welcome to the Chest Tube Drainage System Course.
This course is aimed to standardize and improve the competencies of healthcare professionals with information about chest tubes and the management of chest drainage systems.
Upon completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
- Provide an evidenced-based method of handling patients with a chest tube drainage system
- Establish guidelines to govern the nursing practice, procedures and techniques to be facilitated in handling patients with chest tubes attached to the drainage system.
